There is so much to be thankful for. I am thankful that there is a time of the year for us to remember to count our blessings because so often they are taken for granted. Here are just a tiny bit of my favorites:
~My family & friends, because without them, I wouldn't have made it through the most difficult year of my life(2009) which resulted in my best year (2010)!
~My new job-Many of you know I work part time in a restaurant and have done so for the past 2 years. I hate it, but again I remained grateful that I had a job. And I am so excited to announce that today was my first day at North Hartsville Elementary as a behavior manager! It's only the first day, but I loved it!I feel like a big kid now ;)Not only is it a wonderful job, but it's a great experience for me in my masters program.
~My house, filled with all of my treasured belongings- After living in a dorm for a year, a trailer in the country for 2 years, then an apartment for a year, I have my first house. I have been here for a year and I can't describe the love I have for my house. It sounds silly, but I rode by and knew I had to have it! It was built in the 40's (I believe) and has all original hardwood floors and moldings, high ceilings, a fireplace, a cute front & back porch....I could go on & on for hours. It's filled with my treasures-I collect antiques, of all kinds, mostly family heirlooms. And I can't forget my 4legged treasured babies! I have 1 dog, and 2 cats, and of course they're spoiled.
~Last, but not least, I'm thankful for unanswered prayers.-I would not be as happy or successful as I am today if all of my prayers were answered in the way I asked for them to be. God knows what's best & I am a FIRM believer in "Things happen for a reason, Just believe"
