Movies worth watching a 2nd time

(and that's saying alot for me. Watching movies is a hobby of mine, and I rarely watch them more than once)
1.The Town-A bank robber(Affleck) falls in love with a hostage. The ending was great-not predictable but didn't leave me angry
2.Secretariat-wonderful. set in 1973 and I fell in love with the main character, a stallion who is trying to win the Triple Crown
3.True Grit-my very favorite, although I hated the ending, left you wondering what the heck happened?
4.Winter's Bone- a daughter who is tough as nails sets out to find her meth cooking father who skipped bail in order to keep her family together and save their house.
5.Unstoppable-as a fan of Denzel's, I love all his movies, but was a little disappointed with this one(but notice it still made my top list) I liked it enough to go see it by myself, but I kept wondering when the big moment was
6.Burlesque- a musical with Cher and Christina Augilera, the only "new"musical I'm a fan of. I have the soundtrack in my cd player!

I still want to see Black Swan, although I'm not going to see it alone, and I want to see Buried & Country Strong. If you've seen any of these 3, please let me know what you thought!

"Baby it's cold outside"

I hateeee cold weather. But every year I put up with it in hopes that it will snow. I think it's beautifullll! Watching it fall is so magical and it's so funny to watch Boss play in it. He loves it. He rolls around in it, eats it, runs really fast through it-slams on brakes-then rolls over. I got some friends from work to help me make a snowman, and it turned into a snowwoman, AKA Bahama Mama.  I hope we see more of this white stuff before it gets warm again!

Crouch Christmas Card 2010

Meredith Hall took our pictures all around downtown Hartsville, but mostly in our dove field, at James Tedders place. I don't know what it is, but every year, on picture day, every female in my family, including myself, is in the worst mood. Thankfully you can't tell it in these pictures! It's hard to please a bunch of women, but Meredith did it! Click on this link to see all the pictures on my facebook page.http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/album.php?aid=308395&id=697211152&fbid=10150119959821153.  But here are a few of my favorites:

Dixie Stampede

A longg time ago, when I was in girl scouts, my troop and the twins troop went to the Dixie Stampede Christmas show. I was maybe 10 or 11, which would make the twins 7 or 8. I don't remember much, except I was starving and the food was wonderful. I remember that it just kept coming and coming! Of course, I also loved the horses and the live show. So anyway, I kept hearing that this year was their last year and I had been wracking my brain trying to come up with something special to give the twins for their 21st birthday. So....on December 22nd, I am taking my baby sisters to the Dixie Stampede to celebrate! I guess their not babies anymore. It is a once in a lifetime celebration and I want them to know how much I love them. I will post pictures when I return, until then, Merry Christmas ya'll!

Ms. Crouch

After a week and a half of being at North Hartsville, I can honestly say I love it. Every part. I am truly blessed to have this job & know that I want to spend the rest of my life encouraging and teaching those little people! My  first day a 5th grade girl told me I was "rockin' my outfit" so I was happy to have made a friend. Kids say the darndest things! I was amazed at how many teachers I knew there, and they have been so helpful and sweet to me. Which has made my experience all the more pleasant! The past week I have been substituting while my student is out, and oh man, getting up at 6:00 am is starting to get to me.I don't think I have gotten up this early in 6 years. I believe my 4legged babies think I have abandoned them because they look at me like I'm crazy when I get up in the morning and crawl back under the covers. When I get home in the afternoon they're so excited they don't know what they want first-a kiss, food, or outside. Makes me feel loved :) and who knew school lunches were good? Last time I checked, they were mystery meat and a lump of mush! Working in Hartsville during the day, then grad school & working at Longhorn at night is a big challenge, but I'm thanking God for this experience, cause who knows how long it will last. What doesn't kill me, makes me stronger.
